Launching Chapter 1

So excited to be launching Chapter 1 today, it has been many years in the making, and, after several months of dedication, I am super pleased to be bringing it to everyone! I am incandescently glowing from the pride I feel over it - I hope everyone who comes to read it can find some joy in it as well!

Question: Is your OC an early riser ☀️ or a night owl?

Thinking about it, A.C.E. + C.O.C.A., don't sleep a lot, they are both early risers, waking up at dawn and staying up late. Between the two, C.O.C.A. goes to bed earlier. T.O.M.O. and Dicer wake up at a more reasonable time. Dicer can stay up late if A.C.E. does, and T.O.M.O. can't be bothered

Daily OC Questions 8/30/25

Question: Does your OC like shopping? If yes, which things do they spend the most money on?

Dicer buys random stuff, if he thinks of you when he sees something he will buy it for you.

T.O.M.O. - (after squaring away boat loads of money) is a big spender on high quality antiques/ things that keep their value. Imagine a $$$$ original ming vase sitting in the hallway - that kinda stuff.

C.O.C.A. collects typical rich people things: shoes, clothes, cars. I think she has the heart of a collector and it's all very organized. I assume she collects bottle caps and stamps as well

A.C.E. grew up with nothing and continues to have very little worldly possessions. He mostly has what people gave him. But I think he will spend money going to see things - like concerts or events (experiences)

I'm sure Dicer has made it so he has and spends more than ever before

Question: does your OC like to wear makeup?

I think "like" wearing makeup is more of an option than he actually has for it, But A.C.E. has markings for when he is out in duty. I like to think they are tied to the use of his ability. He always has bottom triangle lashes though and that's not makeup (he's just pretty) ✨

Question: What does your OC's handwriting look like?

T.O.M.O. has very nice, fancy cursive script. It is, in fact, so fancy that it's hard to read. And if you can't read it, he WILL call you illiterate. 😂

Question: If your OC could have only one weapon to use and hone, what would they choose?

Been debating on this since all my characters have an ability they can fight with. But I've been imagining that aside from all the stuff A.C.E. can pull out of his voids - that he should have a sword that is made of void that can morph and disappear things. It can move unlike other voids.

So, A.C.E.s ability can open up multiple tears in space, but they can't be moved other than to be open and closed. He can open a series in a row to simulate the moving, but not the singular one. So maybe it would be cool to see a small on be used as a sword that blips in and out of space

Idk if it goes again the mechanics of it all though so still on the fence about it. Cus idk if it's a different enough application for a slight breaking if the rules to what he can and can't do. It's not like it's sharp or solid.

Thought:

I want Dicer and T.O.M.O. to be like. - not bros, not friends, but more than distance co-workers 🤔 I need T.O.M.O. to serve as (questionably) good advice for Dicer. And Dicer to serve as maybe slightly interesting entertainment for T.O.M.O. Their dynamic is hard to quantify 😂

Question: What language(s) does your OC speak? This includes languages that you have created!

In the world where my story is set, everyone speaks the same language. Different cities might have different ways of speaking, but it's all understandable. That said, each character has an original "country of origin" so if they were to come here, they would speak that language. -->

So even if these places don't exist in the world I built, they would potentially speak:

A.C.E.: French

Dicer: Swedish

T.O.M.O.: Japanese

C.O.C.A.: Spanish

Raiko: Danish

Kouen: Quechua (?) (Incas)

Yuki: English (the Canadian flavor)

Etc. If ported.

If that makes any sense 😂 lol

Question: what is your OC’s Occupation?

The main 4 run the local gov. that's divided into factions that they run- breaks down kinda like this:

C.O.C.A.: Hearts- Town dev./direction

A.C.E.: Diamonds - Defense

T.O.M.O.: Spades - Law+Oversite

Dicer: Clubs - Resource Acquisition

Revenue+diplomacy/PR are shared

Question: Does your OC own a Vehicle?

A.C.E. and Dicer don't have their own vehicles, but the Cididel has some air ships/sky gliders they can borrow for work. both have hoverboards (but it's really more like a skateboard so idk if it qualifies here lol) I imagine T.O.M.O. has one mostly for show and C.O.C.A. has a few

Question: Is your OC more likely to sacrifice themselves to save others, or to sacrifice others to save themselves?

A.C.E. is like, a martyr for taking on things so other people don't have to.

Dicer would hypothetically want to sacrifice themselves but wouldn't ultimately be able too cus of luck.

C.O.C.A. would

T.O.M.O. would say he'd leave you for dead, but he might end up sacrificing himself begrudgingly

Question: Does your OC know how to sing?

I love to think that A.C.E. can sing well. But he rarely sings at all. People might just hear him humming to himself when he thinks he's alone. And he'd probably only sing if he really felt like it. So it's a take what you can get situation like most things with him lol

So, yes. Our main 4 leaders took on these names when they agreed to run the Cididel:

A.C.E. C.A.R.D.

T.O.M.O. D.A.C.H.I.

C.O.C.A. H.E A.R.T.

L.U.C.K.Y. C.A.L.L.

Spoiler Dicer will keep using his name, but he'll get the other one in the story when he takes over the Clover faction

An expansion on this: I never nailed it down, OFFICIALLY, But the names I imagined they gave up were:

A.C.E. -Diamante

C.O.C.A. -Havana

T.O.M.O. -Hiroshi

Never thought it was all too important. So that's like- deep lore. Also, in my head Dicers name is really "Dee Dee" but like 🤷

Thought:

Came up with an incredibly solid birthday for T.O.M.O. I just threw a day that sounded like it would fit him out there (oct 19th) and low and behold it had some good connections to him! It's new friends’ day, and it would make him a Libra, which is the liberty scales! And he's a judge! Love that! 😆

Question: Does your OC want to be popular? What would they do if they were suddenly famous?

A.C.E. is actually a pretty well known, more then he thinks (because of forced modeling -yes he has a fanclub lol) But he doesn't want to be popular

Dicer probably thinks it would be fun

C.O.C.A. is a super Idol, so she's crazy popular

It would be better if T.O.M.O. doesn't become popular haha 😂

Question: Is your OC single or taken?

So, A.C.E. and Dicer will figure it out - and as soon as A.C.E. gets with the program, they will agree to date and be boyfriends 💖 cus he's not about to live in (shit)uationship land even if Dicer doesn't mind as much as long as they are happy.

C.O.C.A. and T.O.M.O. are single.

Question: Which of your characters will alphabetize a spice rack in their free time?

I can see C.O.C.A. being big on organization. But prob by color. Dicer is just shoving them in a drawer. A.C.E. just leave them out where he can reach them if he uses them. T.O.M.O. is organizing by like, something hard to track like country of origin.

Question: Does your OC have a home of their own? how would you describe their living space?

So A.C.E., C.O.C.A., and T.O.M.O. all live in the Cididel. They each have a floor for themselves and each floor is customizable to what they want/need. Dicer has a room next to A.C.E. on A.C.E's floor but he also has his room in his family's home -he Sometimes stays there on the weekends. 😃

Thinking on it, C.O.C.A. Probably has a house in every City. She has more European -villa type esthetics to her spaces (and leans HEAVY into the hearts theme) she wants to be on vacation at home.

T.O.M.O. prefers more of an Asian esthetic with lots of rare pieces. He wants it to look expensive.

A.C.E. doesn't have a lot of personal things and diden't come from a lot anyways. His spaces are pretty bare as if he barely lives there, except for a few precious things. He holds most of his stuff in his Voids for convince.

Dicer is normal and his spaces are a bit of a mess. lived in and cozy.

Question: If your OC had their own TV show/book/video game, what would it be about?

C.O.C.A. would probably have a verity talk show, where she would speak to guests, sing, and talk about industries inner workings.

Dicer would probably make short form video content very much in the "check out this cool rock I found!" Category. Lol 😆
